In my many years as an instructor and substitute teacher, I have had the pleasure of helping students from all age groups to learn across a broad range of subjects. During the years I was a substitute teacher, I learned many teaching methods, and put together a large portfolio of lessons. This gives me a wide range of material to draw from when tutoring. I double majored in English and Creative Writing and Literature, while at Florida State University, and have a BA in both subjects. I also studied Journalism at Florida A& M University. I am first and foremost a writer, however. I love writing whether it is for work or fun, and have a firm grasp of grammar and punctuation, syntax, and structure. There is nothing I love more than helping others to learn these skills too. Whether you need help studying for exams, improving upon a subject, or writing an essay, I'm here to help! I know that each student learns differently, and so will first assess your learning style and adjust our lessons accordingly. I am an out-of-the-box thinker and will go the extra mile to help you grasp a difficult concept - I know it can be hard. I am currently earning a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction - and intend to instill a stress-free learning environment.
