I am trained in Medical Transcription and Medical Assisting (I have my CMA). I am currently working towards my BSN in Nursing at Broward College. I have a passion for the health care industry and health and wellness in general.

Experience

This would be my first time working as a paid tutor. I did however coordinate study groups while in school and would assist classmates when they were having difficulty understanding concepts. I feel that I personally have excellent study skills and I would like to share them with others.

I am great with kids. I have 8 nieces and nephews ranging in age from 5 to 18. I am open to tutoring any age. I am not the traditional college student. I got started late in life. But I think that helped me to truly appreciate my education. Honestly, when I was younger I was an average student and did not understand the importance of a good education. Now that I am older and have more life experience I truly wish I knew then what I know now. I am a very organized person and I feel that is the key to being successful in all of your education endeavors! I am an avid reader. Reading is very helpful....I believe you should read anything that interests you. I love listening to music of various kinds. I think it feeds the soul. I have an interest in travel. Years ago I traveled to Italy and hope to return again one day. I love the French language and have a goal to learn it fluently one day. I think learning a second language is very important.
