Experience
I received my bachelor's in Health Science from the University of Florida. I'm currently continuing my educational pursuits and interests in health science, and have been studying Clinical Medicine and Pharmacy Science. During my time as an undergraduate student, I tutored college-level Mathematics and Chemistry, as well as high-school-level Math (Pre-Algebra, Algebra I-II) in one-on-one and group settings. I'm experienced in teaching a wide range of subjects within the Sciences and Math, but I most enjoy working with students on General Chemistry and Algebra coursework. These subjects set the foundation for more complicated concepts, and require mastery before moving on to more complex subjects. I thoroughly enjoy helping students lay the groundwork in these areas, so that they may go on to excel in other advanced areas of Math and Science. Teaching is all about letting the students voice their opinions and needs. As an educator, I put their voices first, and work with them to think more critically and deeply. I am all about encouraging self-assurance and inquiry in order to promote comprehension. Outside of work and school, I love to read, listen to music, write poems, and stay active (sports, running, being outdoors, etc.).
