I'm a tutor who is based in Miami, Florida, where I enjoy visiting the beach, watching tele novas, and solving thinking puzzles when I'm not working with students. I'm currently a PhD student, finishing up my degree in public administration. I also have my master's degree in educational administration and my bachelor's degree in linguistics, where I focused on teaching English as a second language and communication science disorders. I've been working in the field of education for over 20 years, where I've worked in a variety of capacities. Some of the things I've done in the field include being a speech pathologist, a teacher, and a staffing specialist. I've also spent a significant amount of time working with persons with disabilities. I'm a fluent speaker of English, French, and Haitian Creole. I also know some Spanish. I'm extremely passionate about helping both children and adults reach their academic goals through the process of tutoring. I believe in the power of education and its ability to transform a life. That's what got me into the field 20 years ago, and that's why I continue to tutor today. I hope that I can use the skills I've developed to help you get the most out of your academic journey.
